We're highly averse to private threads. We're a remote-first company, but we don't work in isolation. Progress happens in shared spaces where the whole team can follow, contribute, and learn. Personal feedback and people management happen privately; everything else is intentionally visible.

Remote-first, but not remote-only
There's nothing quite like being in the same space to carry a big project forward. While most of the time we're working from our home offices, we do travel regularly for hackathons, offsites, and in-person working sessions. While we're all together, we have a bit of fun too!

We'll share a short, role-relevant assignment that reflects the kind of challenges you might take on here.
For some roles, we'll ask you to share a short presentation with the team. This gives you a chance to walk us through your thinking and approach to the work.
You'll meet with other Obvious team members to explore how well we'd work together, get a feel for our culture, and what we expect from one another.
If it's a fit, we'll move quickly to extend an offer and talk through next steps.
